As of Winter 2012, we currently have
regular RitL meetings in 9 areas of the US,
and 1 in Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada.
A group in New York city is working
to find a home and seeks to become another
area with RitL.
If you are in or plan to visit those areas,
please check our
meetings page to find more information
about the times and locations of those
meetings.
If you are not in those areas, you may still
be able to attend an RitL meeting, as we
regularly bring meetings to conferences and
events. Again, please consult our
meetings page for information. If you
are attending (or hosting) a lifestyle
conference or event, and would like to have
a RitL meeting there, please
contact us and let us know the details.
Because our fellowship is so
young, it can often be difficult to find
other people in the lifestyle who are in
recovery. Those of us fortunate enough to
attend RitL meetings have found that the
freedom and value of having a support group
which fully understands our life choices has
been an enormous benefit. As such, we strive
to help other people who seek what we have
found, to connect with each other.
We are currently keeping a confidential list
of people who inquire about RitL, but do not
have a meeting in their area yet. If you
wish to be added to this list, or put into
contact with someone on this list for mutual
support and/or to discuss possibly starting
a group, please
e-mail us so we can act as a
go-between and help you to get in contact
with each other. We also keep an informal group at
FetLife to help with
news announcements relevant to our
fellowship, and some general discussions
about issues specific to recovery in the
BDSM lifestyle.
Lastly, we wish to encourage you to consider
beginning a meeting in your area. We have
put information on this web site to assist
you with starting up a meeting - please
visit the starting a
meeting information page. Lastly, all of
our literature is available on this web site
for download in .pdf format from our
Document Center. This includes our 12
steps & 12 traditions, sample meeting
formats, and our preamble.
For any further assistance, or to make any
suggestions about how we can help - please
do not hesitate to
contact us.
